We’ve got 2 sets of classes lined up:
- Weds at 10am (starting on the 5th June)
- Friday at 11am (starting on the 7th June)
During your 4 week course, you’ll learn how to use the poles (which we provide) and practice the technique during short walks around the Ashwell area.
The course is run by our qualified British Nordic Walking Instructor. Classes cost £48 for the entire course and can be booked by calling our office on 01462 490141.
Nordic Walking is a very accessible activity for lots of people. It is an ideal activity if you haven’t exercised in a while or dislike traditional sports or gym activities.
Nordic Walking is a whole body exercise that you can enjoy, whatever your fitness level. Because it uses poles, it improves your posture and gait, strengthens your core muscles and reduces the impact on your joints. It doesn’t feel like hard work! It’s great as part of injury rehabilitation as the poles support and guide. It can also be used as part of a weight loss or exercise programme or simply for fun.
