I am Suzanne Johnson. If you are reading my page you may have been considering getting help for a little while or maybe a friend recommended you look into Hypnotherapy. Whatever the reason you find yourself here reading this, you have made an important first step to moving away from what is on your mind and troubling you.
I can help you to relax and unwind through Hypnotherapy, placing you in a deep state of relaxation but without ever losing control.
You may want to achieve weight loss, stop smoking, control behaviour, achieve better sleep, improve confidence and self-esteem or improve motivation. Perhaps you need to cope better with certain people or situations at work or at home. You may want to achieve calm or balance in your life after changes or illness.
Nervousness, anxiety, fear of insects, fear of flying, fear of open spaces, fear of meeting people, fear of public speaking, feeling depressed, and feeling overwhelmed – these are all things I can address with you.
I am a qualified Hypnotherapist with many years of experience. I work with people of all ages and walks of life. I hope that something on this page makes you take the next step on your journey and that you call to meet with me to start your healing from within.
Reception will give you my number and we can have an initial chat about what you are hoping and looking for. You can then decide whether I sound like somebody who can assist you and that you would be happy to talk to. I hope to talk to you soon.
Why did you become a Hypnotherapist?
I became a Hypnotherapist after Hypnotherapy helped me through a stressful time in my own life and I could see its value in helping other people. Having previously worked in Financial Services I was looking for something that felt more meaningful so retraining as a Therapist was an easy decision for me.
What makes your job worthwhile?
I find it incredibly worthwhile seeing positive change in my clients and helping them to tap into the immense strength and power they have within them.
What is unique about how you work?
I always work with the whole person, not just their symptoms. I offer a calm and gentle approach to make changes as easy as possible for those ready to make them.
Who has influenced you most in your career as a hypnotherapist?
I was probably most influenced by the Hypnotherapist I saw when I needed help myself. I am still in contact with her now and she continues to guide and inspire me.
What’s the piece of advice do you give to your patients/clients most often?
Drink more water! Be kind to yourself!
What do you enjoy doing when you are not at work?
I enjoy spending time with my teenage son, walking, cycling, reading and listening to music. I’m also learning to play the guitar so I spend a lot of time practising currently and I am loving it.
